Dr. Lisa Rapp-McCall has taught full-time for 27 years at several different Universities as Full Professor until recently shifting to part-time teaching and course development at the University of the Pacific.
She has conducted numerous research studies, program evaluations, and written grants and reports for federal, private, and not-for-profit agencies. She was Director of the Center for Research at Saint Leo University and Editor-in-Chief of the Social Workers’ Desk Reference (2022). She was awarded the 2021- Sol Gothard Lifetime Achievement award from the National Organization of Forensic Social Work and the 2016 Distinguished Ph.D. Alumni Award from the University of Buffalo, School of Social Work. Her research expertise includes juvenile crime and violence, child abuse, school violence, human trafficking, and prevention, as well as program evaluation.

Education

Dr. Lisa Rapp-McCall received her MSW and PhD in Social Work from the University of Buffalo and worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker in the areas of Domestic Violence, Crisis Counseling, Children and Adolescent psychiatric inpatient units and outpatient clinics and in the Juvenile Justice system.
