Social work job outlook

Social workers are in demand and satisfied with their careers. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics forecasts a 9% social work job increase through 2030 across the profession. So satisfied with their careers, 9 in 10 social workers would recommend a social work degree to others.

Work environment

A recent survey of MSW graduates shows a large majority working in mental health settings as a clinical social worker, rather than in organizational or other social work-related roles.
